Friday Sessions #95: ‘Aches to be revealed’ – ‘The Longing’ Tamino

The title of today’s track ‘longing,’ seems the perfect word to describe the voice of Tamino, a Belgian-Egyptian singer songwriter. His music has been described as powerful, wistful , melancholic and achingly beautiful, and that brings us smoothly to:

You might know the word ‘ache’ as a noun to describe a type of pain; headache, stomachache, backache etc. It can also be used as a verb to say that a part of the body is ‘aching’, (perhaps after exercise or strong physical movement.) But what about heartache? So, when a person is yearning or longing for someone or something, we can also say that they are ‘aching for’ or ‘aching to do.‘
